I am feeling sad so often it scares me. I don't really have any friends to speak of. I am 16 y/o and I always liked being along--until recently. How do I make friends? How do I get happy? Please help. Crying or Very sad

Hey, I'm in high school as well. I had the same problem. Here's what I did....I look at it like a game. First of all I know I am a good and fun person to be around, I make it a point to find one person to talk to for a full week. Not a long converstation, but more like, "Did you see Avitar yet" or "I like that top you're wearing". After a week they break down, usally they come over and start talking to me. I am happy with the quanity and quality of the friends I have now. I like the fact that you said you enjoyed being alone. I believe that you must enjoy yourself before others will enjoy being with you. Does that make any sense. Good luck and let me know how it works out Laughing
